1. Should govenment be responsible for keeping consumers safe
I believe that government has a responsibility to protect consumers. In Canada, the government controls many items such as alcohol and cigarettes. After 11 o'clock, consumers are not allowed to buy any alcohol by the government. For another example, the government restricts companies to put some pictures which are warning the risks of smoking. Many people quit smoking and stop drinking alcohol by these reasons. Government contributes not only consumers' safe but also their health.
2.Should individuals be free to choose risky behaviour if they want to
Even though government controls many risky items, consumers also have a right to buy the items. For example, smokers know smoking causes a lung cancer; however, they choose it by themselves. So, if they get a lung cancer, it's their responsibility. Government should interfere with consumers' right, but consumers should control themselves as well.

Developing Sound Study Habits
The most important factor to achieve good marks is effective studying. Learning can bring a lot of satisfaction; however, studying usually requires hard work. There are three steps to acquire effective learning. The first step is one should set up a schedule to ensure one has enough time for studying. It is important to divide exact time to study and check your time. In order to keep up your concentration level, you need to take breaks. Writing your schedule down is also important to have a regular study routine. Before starting studying. One should set up one's learning for goals and objectives. People have tendency of delaying big tasks. According to Alan (1996), " many of us tend to tackle simple, routine tasks first, saving lager tasks for later. " The tendency to delay major assignments affects learning negatively. The second step is to find a quiet place to study where one can concentrate. Most llearners can not concentrate when there is noise around, so one should avoid places that can disrupt one's attention and focus. The third step is to reward one's studying once it is completed. Rewards can stimulate one's motivation to learn. One can reward oneself in different ways such as snacking, watching a TV show or calling a friend.

About the public lecture.
A few weeks ago, I went to McGill to listen to a public lecture titled Good Dams and Bad Dams with some classmates. Before i went there, I was a little excited because it was my first time. When the lecture started, I got nervous because I knew I was not able to listen to it twice. However, I gradually had confidence in listening their lecture. After listening to the lecture, I felt satisfied because i was able to participate in not only group work, but also a public lecture.By attending it, I could consider that the differences between good dams and bad dams for hydroelectric power in terms of their environmental and social impact as well. If I have eough time, I am going to go to public lectures as much as i can in order to have many good experiences.

POPULATION
1. My grandparents had 2 sons and 1 daughter, and my parents have 1 son and 1daughter.
I want to have 1 son and 1 daughter.
2. The korean population is approximately 48,782,274. I think the population has negative consequences on the quality of life. Because if there is population explosion , it will cause many social problems such as houses and land.
3. The earth's population is approximately 60 hundred million.
4. I think there are several factors such as death, food, and disasters. Similarly, these apply to the human population through nature.
5. I believe that the governments are not allowed to control population. Because giving a birth is human instincts and a human right. It can cause lack of balance between human beings and nature.

These give various influences on people. Happiness can be interpreted as different perspective as well.
